UAE Braces For Soaring Temperatures With Up To 50°C Expected In Abu Dhabi
Temperatures in the UAE might soar to 50°C in certain regions, especially in Abu Dhabi, despite generally cloudy weather conditions.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), Mezaira and Gasyoura in Abu Dhabi could experience temperatures reaching 50°C. Meanwhile, Dubai is expected to see a maximum temperature of 41°C.

The NCM's forecast also mentions the possibility of cumulus clouds forming over eastern areas. Winds are predicted to be light to moderate but may occasionally become brisk, causing dust to rise.
Additionally, the Met department noted that waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will remain light.
These weather updates highlight the extreme heat expected in parts of the UAE, with specific areas like Mezaira and Gasyoura potentially hitting record temperatures.
Residents should prepare for high temperatures and possible dusty conditions due to brisk winds. The light wave activity in surrounding seas suggests calm maritime conditions despite the heat on land.
This forecast serves as a reminder for residents and visitors to take necessary precautions against extreme heat and dust. Staying hydrated and avoiding outdoor activities during peak heat hours is advisable.
