UAE Launches Warmth And Safety Campaign To Help Gaza During Winter
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 and the International Charity Organisation have launched the Warmth and Safety campaign to support families in the Gaza Strip. The initiative provides winter supplies, aiming to reduce hardship during severe cold and maintain basic living conditions.
The campaign is part of the United Arab Emirates’ wider humanitarian efforts for the Gaza Strip. It reflects a continued commitment to stand by affected communities, especially during difficult weather and ongoing instability, and to back measures that protect health and dignity.
Under the Warmth and Safety campaign, around 95,000 pieces of clothing and blankets are being distributed. These items target families most exposed to the winter conditions, aiming to improve everyday living standards and reduce health risks linked to low temperatures and inadequate shelter.
The Warmth and Safety campaign sits within the Winter Clothing initiatives of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. These initiatives aim to reach one million people in the Gaza Strip. They focus on protection from extreme cold and on covering essential needs for the most affected groups.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has stated that the Warmth and Safety campaign reflects the UAE’s established humanitarian approach. This approach is based on rapid and responsible responses to communities facing crises, with humanitarian work treated as a continuing duty, not restricted by time.
The operation also highlighted that the campaign will run over the coming period with sustained activity. Efforts will focus on reaching the widest possible number of beneficiaries, reinforcing a consistent humanitarian role in supporting residents of the Gaza Strip through the UAE’s relief framework.
By combining winter clothing support with longer-term relief planning, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 links immediate protection from cold with broader humanitarian goals. The Warmth and Safety campaign therefore functions as both emergency assistance and part of a structured programme for Gaza Strip communities.
