Enhancing Media Talent Crucial For UAE Vision 2071, Says Abdulla Al Hamed At Ajman Studios

Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office (NMO) and Chairman of the UAE Media Council, highlighted the historical importance of Ajman Independent Studios. These studios were inaugurated by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan over four decades ago, with H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, in attendance.

Sheikh Abdulla commended Ajman Independent Studios for their role in promoting the UAE's message globally and advancing the Arab drama industry. He acknowledged Abdulla Al Murad, Founder and Chairman of the Studios, for his efforts in establishing them. The studios have been instrumental in nurturing and enhancing the drama and television industry in the country.

The integrated infrastructure and capabilities of Ajman Independent Studios have enabled them to produce works that are part of the UAE's media memory. Sheikh Abdulla noted that these studios now represent a comprehensive media city, offering advanced services for media production. They also host multilingual radio and television stations, bolstering their role in cementing the UAE's position as a leading regional centre for media content production.

At the end of his visit, Sheikh Abdulla emphasised the importance of continuing to develop Ajman Independent Studios. He stressed adopting the latest technologies and providing an attractive environment for media talents. This development is crucial for achieving the ‘UAE Vision 2071’ and reinforcing its position as a global media hub.

The tour was attended by members of the Board of Directors of the UAE Media Council. Notable attendees included Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Director of Ras Al Khaimah Ruler's Court; Saeed Mohammad Al Eter, Assistant Minister for Strategic Projects at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and Chair of the UAE Government Media Office; Maryam Eid AlMheiri, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office (ADGMO); Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and Director-General of the Government of Dubai Media Office; Nasser Muhammed Al Yamahi, Director-General of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority; Dr. Saeed Saif Al Matroushi, Secretary-General of Ajman's Executive Council; Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, Secretary-General of the UAE Media Council; and Maitha Majed Al Suwaidi, CEO of Strategy and Media Policy and Secretary of the UAE Media Council Board of Directors.
