UAE President Sheikh Mohamed And UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently hosted the UK Prime Minister, Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer, during his working visit to the UAE. Their meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, where they discussed enhancing bilateral relations to support the development goals of both nations.
The discussions between Sheikh Mohamed and Sir Keir also touched upon regional and international matters of shared interest. They particularly focused on developments in the Middle East. Both leaders stressed their countries' dedication to promoting peace, security, and stability globally and regionally.
During their talks, Sir Keir congratulated His Highness on the UAE's 53rd Eid Al Etihad. He expressed his hopes for ongoing progress and prosperity for the UAE. The leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthening collaboration based on their historical ties.
The meeting was attended by several key figures from the UAE government. These included H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; and other notable officials.
Both leaders highlighted the importance of resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic means. They underscored their commitment to supporting efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability at both regional and global levels.
The gathering also included H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun, Advisor to the UAE President; Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces; and Mansour Abdullah Khalfan Belhoul, UAE Ambassador to the UK.
The meeting concluded with both leaders affirming their shared vision for future cooperation. They aim to build on existing ties to foster further collaboration in various sectors.
