UAE Leads DP World Tour 2025 Calendar With Five Major Golf Tournaments
The DP World Tour has revealed that the UAE will be a significant part of its 2025 schedule. The country will host five international tournaments, including three prestigious Rolex Series events. Additionally, the final qualifiers will take place in Abu Dhabi and Dubai for the second year running, following the success of this format.
During a session at Jumeirah Estates Golf Club, Akram Skaik from the Emirates Golf Federation, Nawaf Abdulla from DP World, and Renaid Halasa also from DP World discussed these plans. They confirmed that the UAE will host three International Series tournaments. These include the Team Cup match at Abu Dhabi Golf Resort from 10-12 January 2025, the Hero Dubai Desert Classic at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai from 16-19 January 2025, and the Ras Al Khaimah Championship at Al Hamra Course from 23-26 January 2025.

The UAE will also be home to two final qualifiers for elite Rolex Series events. The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship is set for Yas Links from 6-9 November 2025. Following this, the DP World Tour Championship will occur at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai from 13-16 November 2025.
The upcoming season promises excitement with a minimum of 42 Race to Dubai tournaments planned across at least 26 countries. This extensive schedule highlights the global reach and appeal of the tour.
For a second year, the season will follow a structured format comprising three phases. It begins with five 'Global Swings', transitions into the 'Back 9', and concludes with the 'DP World Tour Play-Offs' in November 2025. This structure aims to maintain engagement throughout the season.
The inclusion of these events underscores the UAE's growing importance in international golf. Hosting such high-profile tournaments not only boosts local interest but also attracts global attention to the region's golfing venues.
As preparations continue, anticipation builds for what promises to be an exciting series of events in one of golf's most dynamic settings. The combination of world-class courses and competitive play ensures that both players and fans have much to look forward to in 2025.
