UAE Stands With Lebanon Campaign Returns To ADNEC On October 22 For Aid Collection
Abu Dhabi is set to host an aid collection event as part of the "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign. This initiative, directed by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will take place on 22nd October from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at ADNEC. The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) will oversee the collection of relief items, including food and supplies for women and children.
The ERC's activities are in line with directives from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, is also involved in overseeing these efforts. H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan supervises the initiative as Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs.

Dr. Hamdan bin Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the ERC Board of Directors, emphasised the UAE's significant role in global humanitarian efforts. He noted that the UAE swiftly responds to assist those affected by disasters, crises, wars, and conflicts worldwide. The leadership and people of the UAE are committed to providing urgent relief to those in need during challenging times.
The nationwide campaign was launched on 8th October. It aims to unite individuals, institutions, and organisations across both public and private sectors within the UAE. This collective effort seeks to provide essential aid to Lebanon during its time of need.
