UAE Special Envoy Omar Shehadeh Attends Inauguration Ceremony Of Palau's New President

Omar Shehadeh, representing President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attended the inauguration of Palau's President and new government in Ngerulmud. Shehadeh conveyed congratulations from UAE leaders to President Surangel Whipps Jr. and the new government. He also highlighted the UAE's desire to enhance ties with Palau in various fields.

President Whipps Jr. expressed gratitude towards UAE leaders, including H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He wished for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE's government and its people.

In his speech, President Whipps Jr. praised the UAE's support for Palau's development efforts. He emphasised his commitment to strengthening cooperation between the two nations to benefit both countries and their citizens. The president appreciated Shehadeh’s presence at the ceremony.
