UAE Prepares To Welcome World With Major Global Events In September 2024
The UAE is gearing up to host numerous international events throughout September, reinforcing its status as a global centre for business, tourism, and innovation. These events span various sectors, showcasing the nation's commitment to progress and collaboration.
Abu Dhabi will welcome the 7th Global Aerospace Summit at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort on 25th and 26th September 2024. This summit will gather leaders from aviation, aerospace, and defence sectors to discuss investments in sustainability, youth engagement, and innovation.

The 3rd World Utilities Congress will be held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 16th-18th September 2024. Hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), it expects over 12,000 specialists and global experts from the electricity and water utilities sector. The event will feature 110 interactive sessions with more than 280 speakers, including 18 energy ministers.
World Congress on Rehabilitation
For the first time in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi will host the World Congress on Rehabilitation (WCR) from 23rd to 25th September 2024. This event aims to enhance the quality of life for people of determination by bringing together leaders and officials in rehabilitation and healthcare sectors from over 100 countries.
World Association of Nuclear Operators Meeting
The UAE will also host the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) Biennial General Meeting in Abu Dhabi from 28th to 30th September 2024. This meeting underscores the UAE's role as a model for developing peaceful nuclear energy adhering to high standards of safety, security, quality, and non-proliferation.
Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition
The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) opens tomorrow and runs until 8th September. The event's 21st edition will feature thousands of brands across 11 diverse sectors, blending Emirati traditions with technological innovations.
Dubai AI & Web3 Festival
The Dubai International Financial Centre will host the inaugural Dubai AI & Web3 Festival on 11th and 12th September at Madinat Jumeirah. The festival is expected to attract over 100 exhibitors and more than 5,000 participants who will discuss AI and Web3 advancements.
World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems
Dubai will host the ITS World Congress from 16th to 20th September. This event's focus includes intelligent transport innovations, sustainable mobility, smart city integration, data-driven decision-making, autonomous vehicles, and international cooperation in transport systems.
World Free Zones Organisation’s Annual Conference
The World Free Zones Organisation’s ninth Annual International Conference and Exhibition (AICE) will take place in Dubai from 23rd to 25th September. It will welcome representatives from over 100 countries along with more than 2,000 global business leaders and free zone officials.
Binos Classic Bodybuilding Championship
The second Binos Classic Bodybuilding Championship is set for the Dubai World Trade Centre on 7th and 8th September. With a prize pool of AED1.2 million, this competition attracts around 700 athletes globally.
International Government Communication Forum
Sharjah will host the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) on the 4th and 5th of September. Organised by Sharjah Government Media Bureau, this forum brings together senior officials and experts worldwide to discuss innovative government communication strategies.
Sharjah Investment Forum
The Sharjah Investment Forum returns on the theme "A Futuristic Vision for Smart Economies" on the 18th and19th of September. Featuring over prominent speakers including ministers and business leaders globally.
