UAE Schools And Nursery Show 2023 Launches At Expo Centre Sharjah With Over 50 Exhibitors

The UAE Schools and Nursery Show began its third edition at Expo Centre Sharjah on Friday, continuing until February 16. Supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the event showcases over 50 exhibitors from the UAE education sector, including major schools and private learning centres. Attendees can explore the latest educational practices, systems, and methodologies, gaining insights into top courses and offers from leading private schools nationwide.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Expo Centre Sharjah, officially opened this year's show. He was joined by Ali Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir, Second Vice Chairman of SCCI, and several board members. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, along with senior officials and dignitaries from organising bodies, also attended.

UAE Schools and Nursery Show Begins in Sharjah

During the event's inauguration, attendees toured exhibition pavilions where they received briefings from educational institutions about key academic programmes and student services. They were introduced to innovative solutions like AI-powered learning support robots. Additionally, platforms showcasing advanced "smart school transportation" systems were explored to ensure safe student mobility.

Al Owais highlighted that the UAE Schools and Nursery Show is part of efforts to enrich Expo Centre Sharjah’s calendar with specialised exhibitions. These initiatives aim to strengthen the UAE’s educational ecosystem by recognising education as vital for building knowledge-driven economies. The exhibition provides a platform for institutions to showcase their programmes and engage directly with parents.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa noted that the show has become a key event in the UAE’s education sector. It complements Expo Sharjah’s lineup of specialised exhibitions like the International Education Show. "The continued success of the UAE Schools and Nursery Show is evident in the strong participation of educational institutions," he stated.

The opening day saw a significant turnout from parents eager to explore diverse educational opportunities offered by schools across the UAE. Visitors can learn about exemplary learning methodologies, curricula, after-school programmes, services for disabled children, child development initiatives, and extracurricular activities. Exclusive tuition fee discounts for new students are also available.

Workshops and Seminars

This year’s edition features workshops and seminars led by education professionals including school principals and teachers. These sessions cover contemporary educational frameworks and innovative learning methodologies while emphasising e-learning tools in curriculum development.

The UAE Schools and Nursery Show continues to be an essential platform for educational engagement in the region. It allows institutions to expand their outreach by connecting directly with parents while promoting their services effectively.
