The board emphasized its commitment to empowering women in sailing and modern rowing sports. This comes after notable achievements in various championships and the successful advancement of female athletes through the third round of Olympic qualifiers. Additionally, the board discussed enhancing participation opportunities for People of Determination in local and regional championships. This initiative has been bolstered by a fruitful partnership with Special Olympics UAE, aiming to include these athletes in the first GCC Modern Sailing Championship, now pending rescheduling.

In recognition of their support, Sheikh Ahmed thanked the Al Hamriyah Club's board of directors for hosting this pivotal meeting. He presented a commemorative shield to Ahmed Ali Saeed Al Ketbi, Vice President of the Club's Board of Directors, symbolizing gratitude and collaboration between the federation and the club.

This gathering underscored the federation's strategic vision for advancing sailing and rowing sports within the UAE. By celebrating recent successes and planning future endeavors, it aims to foster a robust environment for athletes to thrive on both national and international stages.
