UAE-Russian Psychology Dictionary Platform Launched With GPT Technology For Enhanced Access

The Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO), in collaboration with the UAE Researchers Centre for Research and Studies and Ural Federal University, has introduced an electronic platform. This initiative aims to digitise the UAE-Russian Psychology Dictionary, making it accessible through accredited databases. The platform connects the dictionary's database to global internet platforms, ensuring it serves as a reliable source for machine learning processes.

The dictionary's launch coincided with the Global Rehabilitation Conference 2024 in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The event was attended by notable figures including Pavel Krikov, Deputy Governor of Sverdlovsk Region; Timur Zabirov, Russian Ambassador to the UAE; and Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of ZHO. Other attendees included Tatiana Merzlyakova and Vyacheslav Yarin from Sverdlovsk Region.

Launch of UAE-Russian Psychology Dictionary Platform

ZHO's Secretary-General highlighted that this platform provides specialised psychological content in Arabic, Russian, and English. It addresses the scarcity of Arabic scientific references in psychology across the Arab world. By using advanced AI technologies, it also bridges cultural and knowledge gaps between the UAE and Russia.

The interactive dictionary facilitates easy access to psychological terms for researchers in both countries. This enhances academic cooperation by allowing accurate retrieval of information. It is designed to register with international publishing bodies like UNESCO and global library forums, ensuring compatibility with AI engines such as ChatGPT.

Dr. Firas Habal from the UAE Researchers Centre explained that this platform is more than a traditional dictionary. It uses AI technologies to ensure information accuracy and broaden accessibility. The system allows users to query content through standardised APIs, aiding machine learning development by integrating into recognised databases.

Artificial intelligence significantly improves search accuracy and provides quick access to verified data. Dr. Firas noted that this enhances academics' ability to understand complex psychological terms, marking a scientific advancement in regional psychology studies.

Comprehensive Content Coverage

The dictionary is indexed by seven key bodies to ensure its reliability and credibility. It contains 5.4 million characters in Arabic and 4 million characters each in English and Russian languages. Covering over 5,000 psychological terms across 1,520 pages, it serves as an exceptional tool for accessing psychological concepts using cutting-edge AI technologies.

Dr. Fawaz Habal presented an overview of the interactive platform alongside Dr. Firas Habal during the conference. They thanked Ural Federal University and other partners like UAE University and Abu Dhabi Police for their contributions to developing this comprehensive resource.

This project represents a significant step forward in providing accessible scientific content in psychology across multiple languages while fostering international collaboration between researchers from different regions.
