This meeting occurred during Sheikh Mohamed's official visit to Russia, where he was received by President Putin at the Kremlin.
The leaders reviewed the progress made in UAE-Russian relations, particularly in economic, trade, investment, space, and energy sectors. Both reaffirmed their dedication to further developing these ties across various levels. The discussion also covered the BRICS Summit and its role in promoting international cooperation for achieving global objectives.
During their talks, Sheikh Mohamed emphasised the UAE's consistent approach to supporting global peace and stability. President Putin welcomed Sheikh Mohamed to Russia and appreciated the UAE's recent mediation efforts. These efforts successfully facilitated a prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine. In response, Sheikh Mohamed thanked the Russian government for its cooperation with the UAE, acknowledging its role in this humanitarian initiative.
