UAE's Leadership In Empowering People Of Determination Under Sheikh Nahyan's Guidance

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, highlighted the UAE's commitment to supporting people of determination. Under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the nation strives to empower these individuals globally. The UAE aims to integrate them into all societal sectors by enhancing their capabilities and opportunities.

The Future Rehabilitation Centre in Abu Dhabi recently received a Re-accreditation certificate from the CLM Center for Excellence. This recognition underscores the centre's dedication to providing top-tier care and rehabilitation for people of determination. Sheikh Nahyan praised the centre's achievements, noting its role as a global model for comprehensive care.

Mohamed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of the Future Rehabilitation Center, shared insights into the centre’s operations with Sheikh Nahyan. The centre aligns with international best practices and offers specialised programmes like the "Competent Learner Model." This programme, accredited by Tucci Learning Solutions Institute in California, USA, enhances skills and independence among students.

Cathy Scutta from the CLM Center of Excellence in Pennsylvania remarked on the Competent Learner Model's impact. "The Competent Learner Model (CLM) enhances learners' social behaviour and skill development by offering significant opportunities for success," she stated. She congratulated the Future Rehabilitation Center on its reaccreditation and praised its commitment to maintaining high standards.

Mowfaq Mustafa, Director of the Future Rehabilitation Centre, highlighted the success of the CLM programme since 2007. It integrates Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), precision teaching, and direct education to boost social communication skills and independence in students with special needs.

The Future Rehabilitation Center was established in 2000 and has a strong track record in educating people of determination. It provides a holistic educational experience to 146 students with a professional team of 86 educators. Emirati students make up about 40% of its diverse student body.

Sheikh Nahyan expressed his satisfaction with the Future Rehabilitation Centre's progress in rehabilitation and empowerment efforts. He commended all staff members for their dedication and wished them continued success in their mission to support people of determination.

Mohamed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim acknowledged that this achievement results from the specialised staff's hard work at the Future Rehabilitation Centre. The comprehensive programme benefits many students through a team comprising teachers, therapists, specialists, assistants, and registered staff from Tucci Learning Solutions Institute.
