UAE Recognised As One Of The Most Prosperous Societies Globally By GCC-Stat Report
The Statistical Centre for the Cooperation Council for the Arab Countries of the Gulf (GCC-Stat) has recognised the UAE as a global leader in the new economy. The nation is praised for its dynamic and competitive economy, adaptable workforce, and innovation-driven environment. These elements are shaping a promising future for the UAE.
According to GCC-Stat, the UAE has made significant strides in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The country boasts high rates of medically supervised births and widespread access to essential services like drinking water. Nearly universal electricity access and extensive disaster risk reduction strategies by local governments further highlight its progress.

The UAE ranks first globally in several areas, including Global Trade Indicators 2024 and Maritime Protection/Wastewater Reuse/Net Carbon Flows 2024. It also leads in Competitiveness in Green Hydrogen Production and stands fourth globally in Economic Performance 2024. These achievements underscore its commitment to sustainable development.
In addition to global rankings, the UAE holds top positions within the Arab world. It ranks first in the Human Development Index 2024, Best Performing Education Systems 2024, and Gender Inequality Index 2024. These accomplishments reflect its dedication to enhancing quality of life and education.
