Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), highlighted the UAE's top global ranking in humanitarian aid provision. This status is confirmed by international reports that evaluate countries' humanitarian efforts. He noted that during the Gaza crisis, the UAE contributed over 40% of international aid, showcasing its dedication to aiding nations in distress.
He stressed the significance of the UAE's diplomatic ties with various countries and global humanitarian bodies. Under H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership, the ERC aims to enhance its aid delivery through these relationships. The organisation focuses on efficient and timely assistance.

The recent Humanitarian Partnerships Forum, organised by the ERC, was highlighted by Dr. Al Mazrouei as a platform to explore strengthening partnerships with local and international institutions. These include UN-affiliated entities and UAE bodies like the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which plays a key role in coordinating aid efforts.
Dr. Al Mazrouei emphasised effective coordination between local and international organisations to provide aid to those in need, whether in Gaza or other crisis-hit areas. The UAE's humanitarian reach extends to over 115 countries globally, highlighting the need for enhanced collaboration among various entities.
The Chairman expressed gratitude to all parties working with the Emirates Red Crescent. He reaffirmed the organisation's commitment to fulfilling President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's vision and continuing the legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who established the foundation for humanitarian efforts in the UAE.
