UAE Unveils Official Public Holidays For 2025: Key Dates Revealed

The UAE cabinet has revealed the dates, ensuring we can start making plans for the upcoming year. In 2025, there will be at least 12 public holidays in the UAE. If Ramadan extends to 30 days like it did in 2024, there will be an additional day off.
UAE Public Holidays 2025
The early announcement was published in the UAE's official gazette after reviewing several federal laws. These laws cover labour relations, human resources, and public holidays in the state. Both private and public sectors in the UAE will observe these holidays.
The resolution on public holidays will take effect from Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Although exact dates depend on moon sightings, we know the occasions we'll have off.
