31st Edition Of UAE President's Cup For Arabian Horses Set To Begin
The Higher Organising Committee of the UAE President's Cup World Series for Purebred Arabian Horses has unveiled the schedule for its 31st edition, under the patronage and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This international event, set to commence next Sunday at the Longchamp Racecourse in France, aims to elevate the status of the Arabian Horse, ensuring its heritage is preserved and its care enhanced globally. This initiative aligns with the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The 2024 series will feature 15 races across various prestigious tracks worldwide, including nine in Europe, five in Arab countries, and one in the US. Following the opener in France, the series will move through Tunisia, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, the UK, Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, and conclude in Saudi Arabia on 11th December.
In addition to these races, a series of competitions within the President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses will take place in South America, with Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile participating. This expansion aims to support Arabian Horse owners and breeders in South America through responsible breeding practices and care.
Matar Suhail Al Dhahiri expressed his gratitude towards the UAE's leadership for their support of this prestigious event. He highlighted that the President’s Cup now spans 15 countries and involves some of the most renowned racetracks worldwide. This global reach underscores the UAE's commitment to promoting Arabian Horses on an international scale.
Faisal Al Rahmani also shared his pride in announcing the event's agenda, emphasizing its significance on the international horse racing calendar. He credited His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his role in elevating the race series to high international ranks and for encouraging efforts to enhance the status of Arabian Horses globally.
