UAE President’s Cup For Purebred Arabian Horses Features 16 Competitors In Kazan
The Kazan International Equestrian Complex in Tatarstan, Russia, is set to host the tenth round of the 32nd UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses. This event underscores the UAE's dedication to supporting Arabian horse owners and breeders worldwide. It also aims to promote the global growth of Arabian horse racing while preserving its heritage.
In this prestigious race, 16 top-tier Arabian horses will compete in a Group 1 contest over a distance of 1,800 metres. The prize money for this event is US$100,000. Among the notable participants is Saher, who won the 2023 and 2021 editions. Saher is owned by Edward Mardukhovich and bred from Nizam and Jezabelle by Dormane.

Other competitors include Tawfiq, Voskhod Tersk Medni Maximus, Gargamel, Snow Storm Tersk, Bovola, Stark, Podarok Tersk, Gavot, Undertaker, Savab, Nimbus Tersk, Windhoek, Makhram, and Devonshire Tersk. Each horse brings its unique pedigree to this significant race.
Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri chairs the Higher Organising Committee of the UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses. He expressed pride in the successful UAE–Russia partnership that has propelled this round of the Cup forward. He highlighted how hosting in Tatarstan at Kazan reflects their commitment to engaging with Arabian horse enthusiasts globally.
Al Dhaheri noted that Kazan has consistently welcomed the UAE President’s Cup with excellent organisation and enthusiastic audiences. The involvement of leading Russian studs this year highlights the global prestige of the UAE President’s Cup.
