UAE President’s Cup For Purebred Arabian Horses Reaches Netherlands With USD 100,000 Prize
The UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses is set to hold its 8th stop in the 32nd edition at Duindigt Turf Racecourse, The Hague, on Sunday, 3rd August. This event in the Netherlands is notable for being the richest Arabian horse race ever held there, with a prize of USD 100,000. The race will feature 11 elite horses from top European stables.
The UAE leadership continues to strongly support the President’s Cup, aiming to preserve the legacy of Purebred Arabian horses and promote the sport globally. This Dutch stage highlights the series' international appeal and commitment to excellence in horse racing.

The race covers a distance of 2,150 metres and is classified as a Group 3 event. It welcomes horses aged four years and older, promising an exciting competition among some of Europe's finest contenders. The participating horses represent renowned stables across Europe.
Among the entries are Afjan from Al Shaqab Racing, trained by J. de Mieulle Grijs with jockey Olivier d’Andigné, and Al Zeer owned by M.F.A.H. Al-Attiyah with trainer F. Rohaut Blauw and jockey G. Guedj-Gay. Other notable entries include El Paso T, Ska de L’Aigle, and Dream Seq.
Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the UAE President’s Cup Series, expressed pride in the series' achievements: "We are proud to see the UAE President’s Cup continue to fulfil its vision of elevating Arabian horse racing to new international heights." He acknowledged His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan's support for advancing Arabian horse racing worldwide.
The series not only showcases high-level competition but also celebrates cultural heritage and tradition on a global platform. As it progresses through various international venues, it reinforces its status as one of the most prestigious events in Arabian horse racing.
Participants Reflect Global Stature
The lineup also includes El Zarka D.A., Farida P, Ksar de L’Ardus, Raed, Bayesa, and Papillion T. These horses are trained by experienced professionals like J. Verstrepen and P. Deckers, ensuring a thrilling race day for enthusiasts.
This event underscores the growing global stature of the UAE President’s Cup Series as it attracts top-tier owners and stables from across Europe and beyond. The participation reflects its increasing prominence on the world stage.
