UAE Rolls Out Red Carpet For Kuwaiti Emir In Abu Dhabi State Visit
His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, embarked on a state visit to the UAE, marking a significant moment in the diplomatic relations between the two nations. Upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi today, he was warmly received by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Presidential Airport, signifying the importance of this visit.
The welcoming party also included prominent figures such as His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Matar Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to Kuwait. This high-level reception underscores the strong ties and mutual respect between the UAE and Kuwait.

In a display of honor and camaraderie, as His Highness the Emir of Kuwait's aircraft entered UAE airspace, it was escorted by UAE military jets. This ceremonial gesture highlighted the warm welcome extended to Kuwait's leader. The leader of the escort squadron formally requested permission from His Highness Sheikh Mishal to accompany his aircraft to the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi, further emphasizing the close relationship between the two countries.
Accompanying His Highness the Emir Sheikh Mishal is an official delegation that includes key figures such as Sheikh Dr. Salem Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; Sheikh Nawaf Abdulaziz Humoud Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah; Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Salem Al-Sabah; Sheikh Jaber Faisal Al-Saud Al-Sabah; Sheikh Mubarak Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah; Sheikh Hamad Salem Al-Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; Chief of the Government Performance Follow-up Apparatus Sheikh Ahmad Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and ranking officials at the Emiri Court.
