UAE President Emphasises Importance Of Community Involvement In National Initiatives
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently met with a delegation from the Ministry of Community Empowerment at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. He expressed gratitude to the Ministry's team for their dedication during the Year of Community, a national initiative aimed at enhancing community involvement across the UAE.
His Highness emphasised the significance of engaging all societal segments and fostering meaningful participation. He noted that true success is measured by the positive impact these initiatives have on people's lives. The Ministry's role in shaping a cohesive and active society, contributing to sustainable development, was also highlighted.
The delegation members expressed their appreciation for His Highness' support, describing it as a profound source of encouragement. They stated that this backing inspires them to continue serving both the community and the nation at large.
His Highness stressed that a resilient, stable, and engaged community forms the foundation of a strong nation. This aligns with the country's sustainable development goals, which aim to create an inclusive society where everyone contributes positively.
The meeting was attended by several prominent figures, including H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; and H.H. Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.
Other attendees included H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; and H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Also present were H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination; H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; and other notable sheikhs and officials.
The gathering included H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and several other dignitaries.
