UAE President Khaled Bin Mohamed Approves AED 4 Billion Housing Benefits Package For Citizens In 2025

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has approved a new housing benefits package for 2025. This initiative, valued at AED4 billion, will assist 3,310 UAE citizens across Abu Dhabi. The package includes loans worth AED2.27 billion for 1,768 citizens and grants and homes valued at AED1.51 billion.

The announcement aligns with the 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations, showcasing the leadership's dedication to citizen welfare and social stability. The initiative aims to provide dignified living standards that empower Emiratis to contribute to national development. This reflects a broader commitment to enhancing quality of life for Emirati families.

AED 4 Billion Housing Package Approved in UAE

The package also offers loan repayment exemptions for limited-income senior citizens, retirees, and families of the deceased. Additionally, it includes loan reductions under the Emirati Family Growth programme, amounting to AED208 million for 204 citizens. These measures aim to support various segments of society in achieving housing stability.

This latest package increases the total value of housing benefits disbursed in 2025 to AED15.384 billion, aiding 10,718 citizens. It comprises AED11.766 billion in loans for 7,802 beneficiaries and AED3.1 billion in land and home grants for 2,438 beneficiaries. Repayment exemptions and reductions under the Emirati Family Growth programme total AED514.75 million for 478 citizens.

Since the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, over 129,448 housing benefits have been delivered with a total value of approximately AED177.57 billion. This ongoing effort underscores the leadership's commitment to ensuring stable living conditions for all citizens.

Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, expressed pride in the leadership's focus on citizen wellbeing during Eid Al Etihad celebrations. He stated that this new package highlights their dedication to improving life quality and fostering unity within society.

Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, noted that this package reflects a strategic vision for long-term family stability and sustainable development in Abu Dhabi. The authority remains committed to enhancing services and providing efficient access to housing solutions aligned with government goals.
