UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Appoints New Assistant Governors At CBUAE
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has appointed several Assistant Governors at the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) through a Federal Decree. Ahmed Saeed Al Qamzi, Ibraheem Al Sayed Mohamed Al Hashemi, Fatma Al Jabri, and Saif Al Dhaheri have been named to these roles.
Ahmed Saeed Al Qamzi will serve as Assistant Governor for Banking and Insurance Supervision. He has over 27 years of experience at the Central Bank of the UAE. Previously, he was Director of the Banking Supervision Department, managing supervision and inspection operations.

Ibraheem Al Hashemi is appointed as Assistant Governor - Executive Office and Secretary-General of the Board of Directors. With more than 30 years at the Central Bank, he has held several senior roles, including his current position.
Fatma Al Jabri takes on the role of Assistant Governor for Financial Crime, Market Conduct and Consumer Protection. Her career spans over 25 years in various banks and financial institutions in the UAE, such as Citibank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. She is also part of the National Committee for Anti-Money Laundering.
Saif Al Dhaheri becomes Assistant Governor for Banking Operations and Support Services. He has held senior positions, including Senior Advisor to Mubadala's Executive Vice President of Human Resources. His responsibilities included overseeing human resources and digital transformation projects.
These appointments bring extensive expertise to the Central Bank's leadership team. Each individual brings a wealth of experience from their respective fields, contributing to the bank's strategic goals.
