UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Recognises Institutions Awarded Parent-Friendly Label
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reiterated the UAE's unwavering dedication to fostering family stability and unity. He emphasised that families are the cornerstone of a robust society, playing a crucial role in imparting essential values and nurturing future generations. These generations are expected to maintain their national identity while contributing to the UAE's continuous progress.
The President's comments were made during an event honouring institutions that received the ‘Parent-Friendly Label’ from the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA). This recognition was part of the programme’s third cycle. The ceremony, held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, also included a reception for members of the judging panel and several ECA employees.
During the event, His Highness congratulated the awarded institutions and stressed the significance of raising organisational awareness about creating parent-friendly workplaces. He noted that such environments are essential for fostering a positive institutional culture. They help parents balance their parenting duties with professional responsibilities, allowing them to pursue career aspirations while fulfilling family roles.
His Highness was also informed about the programme’s goals and achievements in its current cycle. He expressed appreciation for the high level of participation demonstrated by the involved institutions. This engagement reflects a collective commitment to supporting families within professional settings.
The event saw attendance from several notable figures, including H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region; and H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan. Other attendees included H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; and H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President.
Additional dignitaries present were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. Several ministers, senior officials, citizens, and guests also attended.
