UAE Leader And World Central Kitchen CEO Plan Enhanced Aid For Gaza
In a significant meeting held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions with Erin Gore, Chief Executive Officer of World Central Kitchen (WCK), a notable US nonprofit organization dedicated to providing food assistance in humanitarian crises. The dialogue centered on enhancing collaboration between the UAE and WCK to support the people in the Gaza Strip through comprehensive aid delivery via land, air, and sea.
The discussions highlighted the UAE's active involvement in the Amalthea maritime corridor initiative, which recently saw the successful delivery of 200 tonnes of food and relief supplies to Gaza. This initiative, a collaborative effort between the UAE, WCK, and Cyprus, marks a critical step in addressing the urgent humanitarian needs of Gaza's residents.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his gratitude towards WCK for its global humanitarian efforts, particularly in crisis-stricken regions. He reiterated the UAE's dedication to collaborating with WCK and other partners to alleviate the hardships faced by the people of Gaza and to enhance humanitarian support through all available means.

The meeting was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court. This gathering underscores the UAE's commitment to humanitarian causes and its readiness to work with international organizations like WCK to provide essential support to affected populations worldwide.
