UAE President Aims To Strengthen Ties At 10th Ministerial Meeting Of China-Arab States Cooperation Forum
During the opening session of the 10th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum in Beijing, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan underscored the UAE's dedication to enhancing Arab-Chinese collaboration. This commitment is aimed at fulfilling the mutual aspirations of all involved parties. The UAE President's address was part of his state visit to the People's Republic of China, where was joined by China President Xi Jinping and a host Arab leaders and senior officials.
According to WAM reports, His Highness expressed gratitude towards President Xi for his role in both hosting and leading the meeting, acknowledging the effort put into the event's preparation. He highlighted the importance of the forum, especially at a time when global unity and solidarity are crucial to addressing common challenges. The UAE President emphasized the role of cooperation and international collaboration in advancing nations and securing a prosperous future for subsequent generations.

The gathering, according to His Highness, is particularly significant amidst the escalating tensions in the Middle East, notably the conflict in the Gaza Strip. The dire humanitarian conditions resulting from the conflict underline the need for Arab-Chinese cooperation and international efforts towards achieving an immediate ceasefire, safeguarding Gaza's residents, and ensuring humanitarian aid delivery.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also pointed out the forum as a reflection of the strong relations between China and Arab countries, reiterating their shared commitment to elevating their cooperation. He concluded with confidence in the meeting's outcomes to bolster coordination and facilitate ongoing collaboration between Arab nations and China.
Accompanying His Highness on his state visit was a notable UAE delegation, including prominent figures such as Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, among others. This visit not only highlighted the strong bilateral relations but also emphasized the UAE's role in promoting peace and cooperation on an international scale.
Upon arriving at the venue, both His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and President Xi Jinping participated in an official photography session, further signifying the importance of their diplomatic engagement.
