UAE President Celebrates Al Wasl FC's Dual Victories In Prestigious Tournaments

The President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted a celebratory reception for the Al Wasl Football Club at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, recognising their outstanding achievements in the President's Cup and the ADNOC Pro League Championship for the 2023-2024 season. This marks a significant moment as the club secured the President's Cup for the third time and clinched the ADNOC Pro League Championship title for the eighth time in its storied history.

During the event, His Highness extended his congratulations to the players, the coach, the administrative and technical staff, as well as the club's supporters for their dedication and hard work throughout the season that led to these notable victories. His Highness also took the opportunity to commend all participating teams in the league and the President's Cup for their admirable sportsmanship and competitiveness, which, he noted, significantly contributes to the advancement of football in the UAE and elevates the nation's sports profile on local, regional, and international stages.
