UAE Pavilion Showcases Diverse Exhibits And Attracts High-Level Delegations At Egypt Defence Expo 2025

The UAE National Pavilion drew significant attention from international delegations and top companies in defence and security at the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) 2025. The pavilion, organised by ADNEC Group with support from the UAE Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council, spans over 1,000 square metres, making it the largest at the event. It features prominent Emirati entities like Tawazun, EDGE Group, Calidus, GAL, AMMROC, Al Jundi magazine, and organisers of IDEX and NAVDEX 2027.

Senior military leaders and international delegations showed keen interest in the UAE Pavilion's offerings. Representatives from Bahrain, Russia, Egypt, Djibouti, and Kuwait visited to explore advanced systems and solutions provided by Emirati companies. This highlights the pavilion's role as a hub for global defence cooperation and dialogue.

UAE Pavilion Highlights at Egypt Defence Expo 2025

GAL announced several strategic partnerships during EDEX 2025 to expand its industrial presence. Abdelrahman Alhammadi, Acting CEO of GAL, stated that their participation underscores GAL’s commitment to enhancing mission-readiness and aviation support capabilities across the Middle East and Africa. He noted that strategic MoUs were signed to strengthen technical depth and logistics solutions.

Jasim Al Marzouqi, CEO of AMMROC, engaged with senior Egyptian officials to discuss ongoing collaborations. They explored future partnership opportunities in aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, and technical support systems. Al Marzouqi emphasised AMMROC’s growing role as a regional centre for these services.

The UAE Pavilion's significance was further highlighted by visits from high-ranking officials who engaged in discussions about fostering global partnerships. Emirati companies held bilateral meetings aimed at exploring cooperation opportunities in advanced defence sectors. These interactions reflect the pavilion’s importance in promoting international collaboration.

Al Marzouqi commented on AMMROC’s participation: "Our participation in Egypt Defence Expo 2025 has highlighted AMMROC’s growing role as a leading regional centre for aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul." He added that this reflects the UAE’s commitment to strengthening defence ties with Egypt and other regional partners.

Memoranda of Understanding Signed

This year saw strategic memoranda of understanding signed with the Arab Organisation for Industrialization. These agreements cover cooperation in airframe systems, engine parts manufacturing, processing, and helicopter systems support. Al Marzouqi mentioned these agreements mark a new phase of partnership with Egypt.

The UAE Pavilion continues to attract attention due to its advanced solutions and high-quality products. It underscores the UAE’s leading position in defence technology industries while highlighting cooperation between the UAE and Egypt across various fields.

Alhammadi expressed pride in participating under the UAE Pavilion: "We are proud to participate under the UAE Pavilion... working alongside our partners to deliver reliable... aviation support capabilities." This participation reinforces GAL's focus on building stronger industrial links across regions.
