UAE Pavilion Successfully Concludes Participation At Egypt Defence Expo 2025, Showcasing Innovations
The UAE Pavilion, organised by ADNEC Group with support from Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement and the Ministry of Defence, recently concluded its successful participation at the Egypt Defence Expo 2025. The event took place at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo, drawing thousands of visitors over four days. The Pavilion highlighted the UAE's latest advancements in defence technology and underscored its role as a global hub for innovation and strategic partnerships.
Humaid Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, stated, "The success of the UAE Pavilion at the Egypt Defence Expo reflects ADNEC Group’s commitment to showcasing the UAE’s national defence companies and capabilities to an international audience. The Pavilion featured prominent national companies such as EDGE Group, Calidus, GAL, AMMROC, Al Jundi magazine, and ADNEC Group. These organisations are also behind IDEX and NAVDEX 2027. The event attracted international visitors including VIPs and official delegations from countries like Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Russia, India, Brazil, Tanzania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Djibouti, and representatives from the Arab League.
Delegation representatives praised the UAE's defence industries for their growing influence in the global supply chain. This recognition is attributed to high quality standards, advanced production capabilities, and innovative design. The UAE's strong record of strategic partnerships with major international firms and its extensive export reach were also acknowledged as significant factors contributing to this success.
The UAE Pavilion will continue its roadshow in 2026 by participating in several key international exhibitions. These include the World Defence Show in Riyadh from 8th to 12th February. Following that are events like Defence Services Asia in Kuala Lumpur, SAHA Expo in Istanbul, Egypt Airshow in El Alamein, SOFEX in Jordan, China Airshow in China, Marrakech Airshow in Morocco and Bahrain International Airshow.
Throughout the expo's duration, senior officials and key stakeholders visited the Pavilion. These interactions fostered valuable connections while highlighting the UAE's innovative contributions to global defence. Exclusive meetings were held between international delegations and ADNEC Group's defence event advisors to discuss various topics related to defence exhibitions in the UAE.
Promoting Innovation Through Collaboration
The discussions included upcoming editions of IDEX and NAVDEX scheduled for 2027. The Pavilion served as a dynamic platform for showcasing leading UAE defence and security companies. Over four days it hosted meetings and presentations that allowed participants to explore advancements in defence technology while promoting new partnerships.
The UAE Pavilion's presence at EDEX 2025 was instrumental in reinforcing its position on a global stage. By showcasing cutting-edge innovations alongside fostering strategic alliances it continues to enhance regional competitiveness within an ever-evolving industry landscape.
