The UAE's housing strategies align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 11: "Sustainable Cities and Communities". This involves providing safe, affordable housing supported by sustainable infrastructure. Al Mazrouei also noted that national projects incorporate green economy principles, smart technologies, and energy efficiency to tackle climate challenges and ensure sustainability for future generations.

The UAE earned second place with its "Manzili Bundle", an innovative model offering comprehensive housing services.

This competition encouraged innovation among youth in housing and urban planning. Participants from United Arab Emirates University, University of Sharjah, and Ajman University presented projects aligned with smart city trends to address future challenges.
UAE's Leading Role in Regional Integration
