UAE Showcases Leading National Defence Companies At Egypt Defence Expo 2025

The United Arab Emirates is set to participate in the fourth Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) 2025. This event will take place from December 1-4, 2025, at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo. It will feature prominent national defence companies showcasing their latest land, sea, and air defence solutions to a global audience.

Within the UAE pavilion, a selection of the country's leading and innovative national defence and security companies will be on display. Their aim is to expand strategic and commercial relationships in both regional and global markets. This effort also seeks to strengthen their presence at one of the MENA region's largest defence exhibitions.

Key participants within the pavilion include Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, EDGE Group, Calidus, GAL, AMMROC, and Al Jundi magazine. These entities will present their latest defence solutions while networking with international audiences to broaden their market reach at this significant Middle East and North Africa event.

The UAE Pavilion's participation allows these national companies to enhance their global market presence by forging new relationships with major manufacturers and international firms. This aligns with the UAE's efforts to foster innovation, expand its national defence industry ecosystem, and develop strategic partnerships for knowledge transfer and localisation of peaceful defence technologies.

Alongside showcasing leading defence companies, the UAE Pavilion will promote its national defence events to military officials, government decision-makers, and industry leaders attending EDEX. These events include the 2026 Unmanned Systems Exhibitions and Conference (UMEX) & Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX), International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR), and the 2027 International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) along with Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX).

EDEX 2025 will host major exhibitors from the defence and security sectors, including top international companies from various regions. The event offers a platform to display cutting-edge defence systems and security technologies while discussing cooperation prospects and expertise exchange in modern defence technology fields.

In 2026, the UAE Pavilion plans to participate in several leading international exhibitions such as the World Defence Show in Riyadh, Defence Services Asia in Kuala Lumpur, SAHA Expo in Istanbul, Egypt Airshow in El Alamein, SOFEX in Jordan, China Airshow in China, Marrakech Airshow in Morocco, and Bahrain International Airshow.
