UAE Engages In Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council Meeting To Enhance Regional Cooperation

Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, the UAE Government's Head of Cybersecurity, attended the Second Ordinary Session of the Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council in Riyadh. The meeting brought together ministers and senior officials from Arab League member states, alongside representatives from the League’s General Secretariat, to discuss cybersecurity issues.

The council's agenda was comprehensive, covering topics that are crucial for Arab nations. Key discussions included adopting the Arab Cybersecurity Strategy and approving the Council’s membership in the United Nations Convention on Cybercrime. Additionally, they considered joining significant international organisations related to cybersecurity.
