UAE Prepares For New Year 2025 With Dazzling Fireworks And Celebrations Across Emirates

Tomorrow, millions globally will focus on the UAE for New Year's Eve 2025 celebrations. The country is renowned for its spectacular fireworks displays, attracting international tourists and locals alike. These events highlight the UAE's commitment to boosting its entertainment sector.

In Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba promises a record-breaking 53-minute fireworks display. Before this, 6,000 drones will illuminate the sky with a 20-minute show starting at 23:40. This includes artistic formations and a world-first image by 3,000 drones.

UAE Welcomes New Year 2025 with Fireworks

Dubai is preparing for over 45 fireworks shows at 36 key locations on New Year's Eve. These sites include famous tourist spots and commercial areas, welcoming visitors from all backgrounds. Authorities have ensured that safety measures are in place for a secure and enjoyable experience.

Key venues in Dubai include Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, Expo City, Global Village, Jumeirah Beach Hotel (Jumeirah Group), Dubai Design District, Bluewaters (The Beach JBR), Al Seef, Dubai Festival City, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Hatta, and J1 La Mer Beach.

Sharjah will usher in 2025 with special events organised by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). It features three fireworks displays lasting 25 minutes across Al Majaz Waterfront (five minutes), Al Heera Beach (10 minutes), and Khorfakkan Beach (10 minutes). Each location offers activities for all ages.

Ras Al Khaimah has finalised plans to dazzle audiences with impressive shows featuring fireworks and drone displays enhanced by laser effects. The emirate aims to set new Guinness World Records during its 15-minute show titled "Our Story in the Sky," marking its longest New Year’s celebration yet.

Ras Al Khaimah's Record Ambitions

The Ras Al Khaimah performance will unfold in three parts inspired by its natural beauty, heritage, and culture. It concludes with an extraordinary display of fireworks and drones at midnight. Last year, Ras Al Khaimah achieved two Guinness World Records for the Longest Sequence of Floating Fireworks and the Longest Straight-Line Drone Show during its New Year’s festivities.
