The Ministry of Culture has recently announced an exciting lineup for the National Reading Month 2024, set to take place in March. The "Joint Publications" initiative is one of the key projects announced for the Reading Month. In partnership with the Emirates Writers Union, this project will produce and distribute 30 publications focusing on reissuing rare books, showcasing young literary works, and translating Emirati literary pieces. This initiative also includes participation in the 2024 Abu Dhabi and Sharjah International Book Fairs and organising author-signing events.
Furthermore, the Ministry plans to host a variety of cultural activities and events across its creative centres in different emirates. These events aim to engage all members of society, further enhancing the cultural fabric of the UAE.
