UAE Mosques To Limit Friday Sermons And Prayers To 10 Minutes Starting June 28
The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Zakat (AWQAF) has instructed all mosque preachers in the UAE to limit the duration of Friday sermons.
Starting from Friday, June 28, until early October, the combined time for the sermon and prayer should not exceed 10 minutes.

This directive aims to safeguard worshippers' well-being and accommodate those attending mosques during the hot summer months. The high temperatures pose a risk, making shorter sermons necessary for comfort and safety.
