UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Meets Montenegro PM To Strengthen Bilateral Relations

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, met with Montenegro's Prime Minister, His Excellency Milojko Spajić, during a working visit to the UAE. The meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. His Highness extended a warm welcome to the visiting Prime Minister and expressed optimism about strengthening the growing ties between the two nations.

The discussions between the leaders focused on enhancing cooperation in key sectors such as economy, trade, renewable energy, food security, and infrastructure. Both sides aim to foster sustainable economic growth through these collaborations. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern, highlighting the importance of peace and stability through diplomatic efforts.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasised the UAE's dedication to deepening development partnerships with Balkan countries, including Montenegro. The UAE has significant investments in renewable energy, food security, and infrastructure in Montenegro. His Highness reiterated support for initiatives that promote peace and stability in the region.

Prime Minister Spajić conveyed greetings from Montenegro's President Jakov Milatović and wished for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception received by him and his delegation. Spajić highlighted Montenegro's eagerness to strengthen relations with the UAE and explore all available opportunities.

During the meeting, two bilateral agreements were signed in economy and tourism fields. His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, signed on behalf of the UAE. Prime Minister Spajić signed for Montenegro. These agreements aim to enhance cooperation between both countries.

The meeting was attended by several dignitaries including H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation; along with other senior officials from both sides.

The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation for mutual benefit. They stressed promoting peace and stability at regional and global levels as essential for development and prosperity.
