UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed And Mongolian Prime Minister Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene of Mongolia recently engaged in discussions to enhance bilateral relations. The talks, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, focused on expanding cooperation in areas beneficial to both nations and their citizens.
The meeting was attended by several notable figures, including H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Other attendees included Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment.
During the meeting, His Highness extended greetings to President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa of Mongolia, wishing him good health and happiness. In response, the Mongolian Prime Minister conveyed the President's greetings and best wishes for the UAE's continued prosperity.
The discussions highlighted opportunities for advancing cooperation in trade, economy, renewable energy, infrastructure, climate action, tourism, and other sectors. Both sides emphasized the importance of regional and international efforts to promote peace and stability globally.
His Highness acknowledged the progress in UAE-Mongolia relations and reiterated the UAE's dedication to strengthening these ties for mutual development goals. He mentioned the collaboration within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), where the UAE is a dialogue partner and Mongolia holds observer status.
The Mongolian Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the warm reception by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. He affirmed Mongolia’s commitment to enhancing ties with the UAE across various sectors, building on recent significant progress.
Delegation Participation
The meeting also included Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organisations; Mohammed Sultan Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to Mongolia; along with senior officials from both countries.
The Mongolian delegation accompanying Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene participated actively in the discussions. The focus was on fostering collaboration that aligns with shared global objectives for mutual benefit.
This engagement between leaders underscores a commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations while addressing global challenges collaboratively. The emphasis remains on achieving shared development goals through multilateral cooperation.
