UAE Ministry Issues Travel Caution For Citizens Amid Thefts
In light of the increasing number of thefts involving UAE nationals in countries such as Spain, Georgia, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, and Austria, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has issued a warning on its social media channels for Emirati travellers to exercise caution and vigilance.
The MoFA advisory includes recommendations to avoid wearing valuable or rare items, securely store official documents at their place of residence, and book cars and hotels through reputable global companies to prevent scams and fraud.
Pursuant to the high number of thefts involving UAE nationals in the Kingdom of Spain, the Republic of Georgia, the Italian Republic, the United Kingdom, the French Republic and the Republic of Austria, MoFA advises Emirati travelers to exercise caution and vigilance:

Furthermore, MoFA encourages UAE nationals to follow travel guidelines specific to each destination. These guidelines are regularly updated on the UAE traveller page on MoFA's website and smart app.
