UAE Minister Of Family Sana Bint Mohammed Suhail Takes Oath Before President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed
Her Excellency Sana bint Mohammed Suhail has been appointed as the Minister of Family. She took her constitutional oath in front of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
The establishment of the Ministry of Family is part of a recent cabinet reshuffle. During the swearing-in at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed congratulated Her Excellency Sana bint Mohammed Suhail on her new role. He expressed his hopes for her success in serving the community and nation effectively.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed highlighted that creating the Ministry of Family signifies the UAE's dedication to family stability. He noted its importance in the nation's comprehensive development strategy and future vision. The family is seen as a fundamental institution for instilling values and national identity.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid emphasised that family matters are central to the UAE government's agenda. Empowering Emirati families through policies, initiatives, and projects is a top priority. He stated that a strong Emirati family is crucial for achieving national goals.
The ceremony was attended by several senior officials. These included H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai; H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
Also present were H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; along with other Sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.
The appointment reflects a strategic focus on enhancing family well-being within UAE society. It underscores a commitment to ensuring that families remain a cornerstone for societal strength and national security.
