UAE Reinforces Its Global Stance On Tolerance And Peace With New Agreements

In a significant move underscoring the United Arab Emirates' commitment to fostering global peace and tolerance, the "World Governments as Incubators for Tolerance" conference was inaugurated today. This event, taking place alongside the AIM Congress 2024, featured a pivotal session titled "The Role of Tolerance and Coexistence in Sustainable Economic Growth". Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, highlighted this session as a testament to the UAE's pivotal role in promoting tolerance and peace worldwide.

Al Jarwan, in his dialogue with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), emphasized the strategic agreements inked today between the UAE's Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence and various international partners. These agreements include collaborations with the Ministry of Investment in Honduras, the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries in Ecuador, and a cooperation agreement with Austria. These partnerships are a clear indication of the UAE's dedication to spreading tolerance and peace on a global scale.

The conference also featured insights from Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. He outlined the core themes of the conference sessions, particularly focusing on how spreading tolerance values positively impacts UAE society. This includes strengthening these values among institutions and workers, thereby enhancing the UAE's reputation in this crucial area.

Al Jarwan also paid tribute to the UAE's rich humanitarian heritage, initiated by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and continued by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
