UAE Leadership Vision Reinforces Country As Premier Hub For Creators And Innovators
The fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit is under way in Dubai, bringing together the world’s largest gathering focused on the content creation economy. Organised under the theme ‘Content for Good’, the event runs until 11 January at Emirates Towers, the Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future.
The UAE Government Media Office is running a programme of more than 580 activities at the summit, including keynote addresses, workshops, roundtables, and interactive talks. Over 150 CEOs and international specialists are involved, offering analysis, practical guidance, and sector insights to participants from across the global content creation landscape.
H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, visited the summit’s fourth edition and toured several pavilions. The visit covered displays from major global platforms, including Meta and Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, highlighting how these companies interact with creators and audiences worldwide.
During the tour, H.H. Sheikha Latifa was accompanied by Her Excellency Maryam Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet, and His Excellency Saeed Al Eter, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Projects and Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office. The delegation reviewed how digital tools support content production, community engagement, and responsible online communication.

Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed said the success of the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit reflects the UAE’s established global standing, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. H.H. Sheikha Latifa added that the leadership’s vision has cemented the UAE’s status as a leading destination that supports creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs from around the world across multiple fields, including content creation.
