UAE Reaffirms Leadership In Multilateral Climate Action At COP30 In Belém

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reaffirmed its dedication to global climate cooperation at the Thirtieth Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP30) in Belém, Brazil. The UAE emphasised the need for collective progress and stronger international partnerships to achieve the 1.5°C climate target. Abdulla Balalaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability, led the UAE delegation, highlighting their commitment to multilateral efforts.

As preparations continue for co-hosting the 2026 United Nations Water Conference with Senegal, the UAE is advocating for water to be central to sustainable development and climate action.
