Creators Market Platforms Debut At UAE's 1 Billion Followers Summit 2026
The 1 Billion Followers Summit is introducing dedicated platforms for content creation companies, marking a new stage for the content creation economy. These platforms will appear during the fourth edition from 9 to 11 January 2026 in Dubai, under the theme "Content for Good," across Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future.
The initiative targets startups and established creators who want to build or scale companies in the United Arab Emirates. It connects founders, investors, and influencers in one space, helping participants test ideas, secure support, and explore partnerships as the global content creation economy reaches about US$250 billion in value.

The new platforms are designed as exhibition and networking spaces where content creation companies can present services, tools, and creative models. Each participant receives a dedicated area to show projects, hold discussions, and meet potential partners, which helps convert individual influence into structured businesses with measurable reach and financial returns.
According to organisers, more than 70 booths will be available for small and medium-sized enterprises, including startups founded by influencers who have already moved into company building. These firms operate in areas such as production, talent management, digital solutions, and data services, giving visitors a view of different business paths within the content creation economy.
The decision to introduce these platforms is described as a strategic development in the summit’s evolution. The UAE Government Media Office, which organises the 1 Billion Followers Summit, aims to use the new feature to expand participation, stimulate entrepreneurship, and highlight business models that can be replicated by emerging creators in the region and worldwide.
Alia Al Hammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and CEO of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, said the move reflects steady improvements in the summit’s programme design. The addition supports the summit’s role as a global meeting point for content creators and strengthens Dubai’s position as a hub for digital and creative industries.
Alia Al Hammadi said, "Through this initiative, we look forward to enriching the fourth edition and strengthening the position of the 1 Billion Followers Summit as a source of inspiration for emerging influencers in the region and around the world. We aim to encourage ambitious individuals to invest in the content creation economy and benefit from the ideas and working models adopted by small and medium-sized companies that have achieved successive successes, proving that the path is open for entrepreneurs to realise their aspirations for excellence, impact, and sustainable growth."

The platforms are also intended to support knowledge exchange. Experienced influencers and creative entrepreneurs can share stories, processes, and lessons learned with newer creators. This interaction helps startups reduce risk, refine business plans, and understand regional and global market demands, while also offering established players access to fresh concepts and potential collaborators.
During the summit, the platforms function as a gateway to showcase ideas, products, and services, as well as to negotiate investments and strategic alliances. Participants can discuss distribution, technology integration, monetisation models, and audience engagement strategies, while specialised companies have room to explore high-value deals with content-driven businesses.
The Creators Market is powered by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. The presence of this initiative links the summit with wider efforts in the emirate to support digital sectors, including content creation, through infrastructure, policy support, and business-friendly frameworks that appeal to regional and international entrepreneurs.
