UAE Showcases Labour Market Achievements And Vision At Islamic Conference Of Labour Ministers In Qatar

The UAE, through the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), took part in the sixth Islamic Conference of Labour Ministers organised by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This event occurred in Doha, Qatar, under the theme ‘Local Experiences, Global Achievements: Success Stories in the Islamic World’. The conference gathered Labour Ministers from OIC member nations, representatives from regional and international organisations, experts, academics, and civil society members.

Mohammed Saqr Al Nuaimi led MoHRE’s delegation at the conference. He emphasised that "The UAE government considers the objectives set by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation for areas related to the labour market as a top priority and fundamental pillars for sustainable development." This commitment is particularly strong in labour, employment, and social security sectors.

Al Nuaimi highlighted the UAE's pioneering efforts in creating a competitive labour market that attracts global talent.
