UAE And Kuwait Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation As Dubai Customs Hosts Kuwaiti Consul General

Dubai Customs and the Consulate General of Kuwait in Dubai discussed new steps to deepen cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations. Director-General Dr. Abdulla Busenad met Consul General Khaled Abdulrahim Al-Zaabi to review how both sides can support trade, customs services and institutional collaboration between Dubai, the wider UAE and Kuwait.

The discussions focused on expanding practical cooperation in customs work, trade facilitation and knowledge exchange. Both delegations examined future partnership opportunities and reviewed existing joint initiatives that support smoother cross-border movement of goods, encourage economic integration and help increase the overall volume of trade between Dubai and Kuwait.

UAE Kuwait deepen cooperation via Dubai Customs

Participants underlined the need for continued coordination, regular consultation and more joint meetings between technical teams. They agreed that sustained dialogue helps build long-term, innovation-based partnerships in line with developments in global trade and customs technologies, supporting efficient, secure and transparent services that can respond to changing commercial patterns in the region.

Dr. Busenad welcomed Khaled Abdulrahim Al-Zaabi and highlighted the long-standing historical ties linking the UAE and Kuwait. Dr. Busenad praised the strong cooperation between institutions in both countries, especially in trade and economic sectors, and congratulated Kuwait’s leadership, government and people on Kuwait’s National Day, wishing the country progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.

According to both sides, such meetings offer an effective platform to enhance institutional integration and back joint initiatives. These initiatives reflect the vision of the leadership in the UAE and Kuwait for a more prosperous, cooperative future that benefits the peoples of both countries and supports the wider framework of Gulf economic coordination.

For his part, Khaled Abdulrahim Al-Zaabi thanked Dubai Customs for the warm reception and praised its role as an advanced model in customs operations. Al-Zaabi reaffirmed that the Consulate General of Kuwait is committed to supporting efforts that strengthen institutional cooperation, serve shared interests and reinforce the path of joint Gulf cooperation.
