UAE Italy Bilateral Ties Deepen As Mohammed Bin Rashid Meets Italian President
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, at Zabeel Palace, where both sides underlined the strength of UAE-Italy relations. Discussions focused on economic cooperation, technology, and shared approaches to regional and international developments.
The meeting also underlined the value of dialogue and international cooperation in supporting regional stability and sustainable development. Both sides explored practical ways to expand joint work in areas of mutual interest, including future industries, while reaffirming the strategic nature of UAE-Italy relations.
Senior UAE officials attended the talks, reflecting the breadth of cooperation between the two countries. Present were H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Helal Saeed Almarri, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, and Abdullah Ali Al Saboosi.

Sergio Mattarella commended the UAE’s economic achievements and reaffirmed Italy’s commitment to further deepen cooperation, especially in sectors highlighted during the Zabeel Palace meeting.
