UAE And Indonesia Collaborate To Deliver Essential Medical Services In Gaza

The Indonesian medical team, part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, continues to deliver essential healthcare services to injured Palestinians in Gaza. Collaborating with the Emirati medical team, they provide top-tier healthcare to those affected by the conflict, adhering to international standards.

Since joining the Emirati Field Hospital and Floating Hospital in Gaza, Indonesian doctors have treated over 250 cases and performed approximately 180 surgeries. This collaboration underscores the strong relationship between the UAE and Indonesia, enhancing their humanitarian efforts towards Palestinians.

The floating hospital remains crucial in offering critical care to wounded Palestinians. It has treated more than 49,000 cases and conducted over 3,000 successful surgeries. The facility is recognised for handling complex medical cases effectively.

The Prosthetics Centre within Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues to fit prosthetic limbs for those who lost limbs during the war in Gaza. To date, 63 prosthetic limbs have been fitted. The centre also provides comprehensive support with advanced orthopaedic and rehabilitation devices.
