UAE Recognised As Strategic Hub For Humanoid Robotics Development By Promobot Chairman

The UAE is gaining recognition as a key centre for humanoid robotics, according to Alexey Yuzhakov, Chairman of Promobot's Board of Directors. He shared these insights during the first UAE–Russia Business Forum in Dubai. Yuzhakov highlighted the UAE's favourable environment for developing and deploying advanced humanoid robotics.

Yuzhakov emphasised that the future of technology relies heavily on managing large data volumes. He pointed out that AI-supported robots are becoming crucial for tasks that require precision or are monotonous over long periods. He predicted that robots will soon be as common in daily life as computers are today.

UAE Becomes Hub for Humanoid Robotics

Promobot is focusing on humanoid robot development in the UAE, a sector experiencing rapid global growth. Yuzhakov referred to international forecasts, including those by Goldman Sachs, which predict humanoid robotics will follow smartphones and electric vehicles as major technological advancements, with multi-trillion-dollar growth expected in the next decade.

The forum serves as an effective platform for enhancing cooperation among government bodies, tech firms, and business leaders from both countries. This collaboration supports broader innovation-driven industries. The event is organised by the Russia–UAE Business Council (RUBC) with Roscongress Foundation support.

Yuzhakov mentioned Promobot's goal to help create a locally developed universal platform for humanoid robotics in the UAE. The country's innovation-focused ecosystem, investment opportunities, and technological ambitions provide essential support for such initiatives.

The inaugural UAE–Russia Business Forum commenced on Wednesday in Dubai. It is backed by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Marathon Investment Group. The forum brings together leaders from major companies, investment funds, relevant ministries, and tech startups from both nations.

This gathering aims to strengthen ties between Russia and the UAE in technology sectors, fostering collaboration that could lead to significant advancements in humanoid robotics and other innovative fields.
