UAE Set To Host Major Global Events In April 2025, Highlighting Business Tourism And International Collaboration
The United Arab Emirates is gearing up to host an array of significant conferences, exhibitions, and global events in April. These gatherings highlight the UAE's pivotal role in shaping the future of various critical sectors both regionally and globally. The events attract extensive international participation, reinforcing the UAE's status as a premier destination for business tourism and international conferences.
Abu Dhabi will host the 64th Annual Conference of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations (IFATCA 2025) from 28th April to 2nd May. This event will see participation from numerous international organisations, government bodies, and leading companies in the civil aviation sector.

The AIM Investment Summit 2025 is set to take place in Abu Dhabi from 7th to 9th April at ADNEC. Over 25,000 participants, including high-level figures and top global investors, are expected. More than 170 countries have confirmed their involvement in the exhibition accompanying the summit, focusing on sustainable development projects and enhancing collaboration among participants.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority will organise the World Crisis & Emergency Management Summit 2025 on 8th and 9th April at ADNEC Abu Dhabi. Alongside this summit, a "Crisis Management Technologies Exhibition" will showcase the UAE’s leadership in fostering global partnerships and innovation through advanced technologies.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi is organising the Culture Summit Abu Dhabi from 27th to 29th April at Manarat Al Saadiyat. The summit will explore the theme "Culture for Humanity and Beyond," highlighting culture's vital role during times of rapid change.
Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week is scheduled for 15th to 17th April at ADNEC. The event aims to attract over 15,000 participants along with more than 325 exhibiting entities. It focuses on advancing healthcare initiatives globally.
Technology and Gaming Highlights
Dubai AI Week will occur from 21st to 25th April, featuring numerous conferences that reflect Dubai’s vision for AI's future. The event includes the third edition of the "Machines Can See" Summit and Dubai AI Festival, expecting over 8,000 AI experts, more than 500 investors, and over 100 speakers.
The Dubai Esports and Games Festival will run from 25th April to 11th May. This festival is set to be the largest of its kind in the region with events like GameExpo, GameExpo Summit, Dubai Cosplay Championship, Play Beyond competitions, city-wide tournaments, educational challenges, and interactive experiences.
Travel Market and Reading Festival
The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is scheduled at Dubai World Trade Centre from 28th April to 1st May. This event expects over 47,000 participants with more than 2,600 exhibitors representing over 161 destinations worldwide.
The Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival will take place from 23rd April to 4th May at Expo Centre Sharjah. It offers a variety of new book releases for children alongside interactive activities, theatrical performances, educational events lasting for twelve days.
Dubai will also host the Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit on 12th and 13th April at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai. This summit aims to bring together over 2,800 peace advocates worldwide.
The World Local Production Forum's third edition will be held from 7th to 9th April at ADNEC Abu Dhabi. With over 4,000 participants expected, discussions will focus on sustainable local production issues such as technology transfer and enhancing partnerships for equitable access to quality health products.
