UAE Recognised As Guest Of Honour At The 20th Arab Media Forum In Kuwait Amid Digital Transformation Discussions
The Arab Media Forum's 20th edition has commenced, focusing on "Media Challenges amid Technological Advancement and Digital Transformation." The event, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait, will continue until May 12. It gathers ministers, media professionals, journalists, academics, and content creators to discuss pressing issues in the media landscape.
This year, the forum honours the United Arab Emirates as the Guest of Honour. This recognition highlights the UAE's significant role and excellence in national media. The UAE's media is celebrated for its professional standards and its commitment to promoting human fraternity, peace, and tolerance. It uses advanced technology and artificial intelligence to deliver responsible media content.

The UAE has sent a high-level delegation from both public and private sectors to participate in the forum. Today's sessions included the launch of the "Youth Forum," organised with Kuwait's Public Authority for Youth, Ruqi Club, and Mahara Club. Madi Al-Khamis, Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, explained why the UAE was chosen as this year's Guest of Honour. He noted that the UAE's national media has made remarkable progress in technological development and digital transformation. "UAE media is now among the most advanced," he said, highlighting its use of cutting-edge technology and AI tools.
